Bakeboost + Stripe

Chasing bank transfers and taking card details over the phone is slow and risky. Connect Stripe and your customers pay by card online — for storefront orders, deposits and balances — while the money lands directly in your own Stripe account.

What you can do

  • Take card payments on your online storefront at checkout.
  • Send an invoice with a secure pay-online link for deposits and balances.
  • Money goes straight to your own Stripe account — Bakeboost never holds it.

How to set it up

  1. 1Go to your E-commerce settings and choose Add Stripe.
  2. 2Sign in to Stripe (or create an account) and authorise the connection.
  3. 3You're done — card payments are enabled for your storefront and invoices.
Availability depends on Stripe supporting your country and currency. If Stripe isn't available where you are, Square may be.

Common questions

Does Bakeboost work with Stripe?
Yes. You connect your own Stripe account and take card payments for storefront orders, deposits and balances. Payments go directly into your Stripe account.
Does the money go to Bakeboost or to me?
Straight to you. Card payments are paid into your own connected Stripe account — Bakeboost never holds your takings.
Can customers pay a deposit or balance with Stripe?
Yes. Send the invoice from an order and it includes a secure link where the customer pays the deposit or balance by card.
Which is better for a bakery — Stripe or Square?
Stripe reaches more countries and is great for online payments; Square is handy if you also sell at the counter with POS. If only one supports your country, that's your answer.
