AI Bake Ideas

The big picture

Deciding what to make next is usually a gut call. Bake Ideas gives you two honest signals side by side:

  • Rising in your bakery — products your customers are ordering more of lately, worked out from your own recent orders. This is real data, not a guess.
  • AI product ideas — fresh suggestions drawn from popular baking styles and the season, tailored to what you already sell, your best-sellers, and your most profitable items.

Open Bake Ideas → see what's rising → pick a mode and get ideas → add one to your menu or promote it.

1. Rising in your bakery

At the top of the page you'll see the products that have climbed in your recent orders — ordered more in the last 60 days than the 60 before. Each one shows a simple recent vs. prior count (for example, Pistachio Rose Cake — 4 vs 1), so you can lean into demand you already have. If you're a newer shop with little recent history, this panel may be quiet — the AI ideas below still work from day one.

2. Get AI recipe ideas

Choose a mode from the dropdown in the Get AI recipe ideas box and click Get ideas. It takes a few seconds while the AI reads your product list, best-sellers, margins, and the season.

The modes:

  • This week's mix — a rounded set of popular, seasonal, and momentum-driven ideas.
  • Trending now — popular bakery styles and formats (inspiration, not live metrics).
  • By category — ideas within a category you type, like cupcakes or cookies.
  • Seasonal — tied to the real occasions coming up for your region.
  • Use up ingredients — ideas built around surplus or leftover stock you name.
  • From best-sellers — new spins on the products that already sell for you.

3. Reading an idea

Every idea card gives you:

  • The product and why it fits your shop — a short, plain reason.
  • Why now — a seasonal or momentum hook, when there is one.
  • A high-margin badge — when the idea lines up with your more profitable products.
  • A short recipe outline — a sketch to get you started (not a full costed recipe).
  • Tags — quick labels like seasonal, high-margin, or uses leftovers.

If an idea is close to something you already make, it's flagged You already make this and moved down, so the list stays full of genuinely new options.

4. Turn an idea into action

Three buttons on each card save you the busywork:

  • Add to my products — opens the new-product form with the name filled in. Add your price and details, pick a category, and save — it's now a real product you can sell.
  • Promote — writes a ready-to-edit marketing email for the idea and drops you into the campaign editor. Review it, pick your audience, and send.
  • Save — bookmarks the idea to your Saved tab to revisit later.

5. Your saved ideas

Ideas you save appear under the Saved tab, so a good idea is never lost. From here you can Add to my products straight away, or remove ideas you've acted on.

Tips

  • Start with Rising in your bakery — that's real demand you can double down on today.
  • Use From best-sellers when you want safe wins, and Trending now when you want something fresh.
  • Typing a couple of ingredients into Use up ingredients is a great way to cut waste.
  • Treat the recipe outline as a first draft — your own recipe and pricing make it yours.
  • Save the ideas you like, then work through them a week at a time.
